Sea Freight

Cost-effective international sea freight for large or high-volume shipments, FCL and LCL.

Sea freight is the most cost-effective way to move large, heavy, or high-volume goods internationally. Transfer 2000 manages the entire process, from container booking and export handling through to customs clearance and delivery at destination.

FCL and LCL options

We offer Full Container Load (FCL), where you have exclusive use of a container, and Less than Container Load (LCL), where your goods share container space to reduce cost for smaller volumes. We recommend the most suitable option based on your volume, timeline, and commercial requirements.

What we can ship

Our sea freight service handles palletised freight, crated and boxed goods, oversized and out-of-gauge loads, industrial and manufacturing equipment, retail and e-commerce stock, automotive parts and assemblies, project cargo, temperature-sensitive goods in refrigerated containers, and IMO-regulated hazardous materials. Every consignment is assessed to ensure the correct container type, loading configuration, and shipping line are selected.

Full documentation and customs management

Sea freight involves detailed international documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, export paperwork, and import compliance at destination. We manage all of this as part of the service. You do not need to navigate port requirements or customs processes independently.

Carrier selection based on performance

We work with a wide network of international shipping lines and port agents, giving us access to flexible sailing schedules, multiple routing options, and global coverage across major trade lanes. Route selection is based on carrier reliability, port congestion levels, transit consistency, and cost efficiency.

Who uses this service

Importers and exporters managing regular global trade flows, manufacturers shipping bulk materials or finished goods, retailers handling large-scale stock movements, and logistics teams managing scheduled supply chain replenishment. Sea freight is suited to shipments where transit time is flexible but cost efficiency and control matter.

Visibility throughout

Tracking for sea freight is milestone-based. We provide updates at vessel departure, transit progress, port arrival, and customs clearance. When delays occur, we communicate early with practical options where they are available.
