30 years of trust
Our three decade journey is built on trust, reliability, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction. Read how Transfer 2000 has evolved over the years, consistently adapting to meet the needs of our clients and the ever-changing landscape of the courier and freight industry.
The beginning
Founded in September 1996 and based in Tonbridge, Kent, Transfer 2000 was established by Peter and Ian. Their experience in the courier industry led them to recognise the need for a more proactive approach to customer service and problem solving.
Jersey Founded
Recognising an opportunity in the Channel Islands courier and freight market, Transfer 2000 Jersey was founded, adopting the same ethos and culture to that of the UK operation. Soon after, under Anthony and Clare’s leadership, the company expanded its operations in both the UK and Channel Islands.
BIFA Membership
Transfer 2000 became a member of BIFA (British International Freight Association), the leading trade association for UK registered companies engaged in the international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea, and/or customs brokerage.
Relocation to Tunbridge Wells
Transfer 2000 UK relocated to its new offices in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Transition to an EOT
Transfer 2000 has transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). In this new structure the shareholder for the Transfer 2000 group is the EOT, with the shares held in trust by Transfer 2000 EOT Ltd. This arrangement ensures that the employees are the direct beneficiaries of the companies, fostering greater collaboration and teamwork to create a successful, client-focused organisation.

You will speak to the same individuals each time. Our size enables us to establish a close relationship with each of our clients, building a thorough knowledge of the needs of their business.
